Balkans Policy Research Group is excited to announce the call for submissions!
We are seeking articles based on any of these themes:
- The importance of women’s participation in Kosovo politics;
- Changing Kosovo’s current gender quota for fair and equal gender representation and; [1]
- Promoting women in decision-making positions in Kosovo.
Join the competition for the best essay written by young people aged 16-30 from all around Kosovo.
Why should you apply?
Through this competition, we want to promote the topic by encouraging young people to develop innovative solutions and contribute to the public debate on this important current issue.
What will you win?
First place – 250 EUR
Second place – 200 EUR
Third place – 150 EUR
Your essay will be published on the website of the Balkans Policy Research Group and on all our social networks, in Albanian, Serbian and English.
Who evaluates your essay and do they have any rules?
Balkans Policy Research Group has set up an Evaluation Board, which will ensure that the essays are original and previously unpublished work.
Submission Criteria
Essays must have a minimum of 700 words to a maximum of 1,500 words.
The submission should be written in English or Albanian.
Submission emails should include the following information, not appearing on the paper itself:
Your name
Title and word count of your document
Your age
Your current location
